Instructors & Staff
SDI · TDI · ERDI · FRTI Instructor

Forrest is an accomplished technical diver and public safety diver with more than 1,000 dives of experience in every imaginable environment — from the caves of North Florida to deep wrecks, cold-water operations, and zero-visibility public safety recovery work. As an instructor for Scuba Diving International (SDI), Technical Diving International (TDI), Emergency Response Diving International (ERDI), and First Response Training International (FRTI), he teaches the full path from your first breath underwater through full cave, rebreather, and working public safety diving — plus the CPR, first aid, and oxygen administration training that backs it all up. He founded Tennessee Scuba to bring that depth of experience to divers in Middle Tennessee.

Public Safety · Technical · Cave Diver
Josh is a working public safety diver and technical and cave diver who became an instructor for the simplest reason there is: to share something he loves with the world. He prides himself on creating divers who are confident and competent in the water — and who leave training with the same love for diving that got him hooked.
Forrest and Josh work with a crew of active instructors and divemasters who teach through Tennessee Scuba across recreational, technical, public safety, and first response programs — so classes are taught by people who were working dives last weekend, not just certified to teach them.
